Despite Rainy Conditions, Walk MS Still A Success

Rain couldn't dampen the spirits of those walking in support of a cure for Multiple Sclerosis on Sunday.

The tenth annual Walk MS kicked off from the Davies center Sunday morning, as more than 300 registered walkers dodged raindrops and puddles.

Some decided to cut the 3 or 5 mile walk routes shorter due to the weather, but the party continued indoors.

The walk hoped to raise more than $60,000 for Multiple Sclerosis research.

MS is a disease affecting the nervous and muscle systems. More than 10,000 people in Wisconsin have MS.
